Phulkari textiles are hand embroidered in silk floss and come from the Punjab in North India and Pakistan. 
These are made up of hand woven Khadi (handspun) cotton dyed with madder root to create a rich ginger colour .The silk floss in shocking pink, orange ,cream and pale gold decorates the rustic cotton all over to stunning effect .
