Phulkari textiles are hand embroidered in silk floss and come from the Punjab in North India and Pakistan. 
These are made up of hand woven Khadi (handspun) cotton dyed with bark root to create a rich charcoal brown colour .The silk floss in shocking pink, orange ,cream and pale gold decorates the rustic cotton all over to stunning effect .
