The motifs in the centre of this piece display Peacocks with their trains fanned ,an auspicious symbol of beauty, love and courtship .Surrounded by what we think must be horses ...a symbol of strength and intelligence ! These exuberant textiles would have been made as part of a wedding trousseau . Dated 1980's from Gujarat,North West India.
