Totally stunning and in perfect condtion .This exuberant colourful kelim is a rare find .Birds and florals intricately hand woven.Made in two pieces which have then been stitched together by hand .Often larger textiles and rugs are stitched together as the looms in local homes are not big enough to weave a wider piece.This is most probably a wedding rug , made to take into the new home of the bride ,illustrated with joyful and auspicious symbols .
