 Khes throws are intricately patterned, double sided handwoven cotton throws .They had multiple purposes in a traditional Punjabi household . Often part of a brides trousseau ,used for 'best' to lay out on a divan if visitors came but also as a shawl in cooler weather . All  hand woven in villages along the Indus valley by experienced weavers and were rightly prized for their complex design .
I bought these beautiful textiles from a collection whose family were originally from Pakistan .
They are all Vintage pieces and for the most part are in extremely good condition .They should be hand washed only and laid out to dry .
